Kay Gould, an outstanding coach and educator from 1980 to 1986, she led the women’s basketball team to 104 victories, three conference titles and three NCAA appearances.

Equally successful in softball, Gould coached her team to 135 wins and four consecutive NCAA appearances form 1983 to 1986. Over the years Gould has been an active contributor to women’s athletics on the regional, national, and international scene. She has contributed significantly to the Allegheny tradition of excellence.
