Allegheny College Athletics

Yarbenet was a four-year letter winner for the Gator football squad.  He was also the captain in 1950, selected by the Associated Press to the 1949 All-State football team, voted Little All-American, made the Pittsburgh Telegraph’s District Small College first team, honored as MVP of the Gators and voted First Team District Class B All-Star team.

Yarbenet, a brother of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, is a member of the Allegheny College board of Trustees.  He was President and Chairman of Gulf and Western Realty Corp and formerly Vice President and Treasurer of Transnation Development Corp.  Prior to earning the position, he was Vice-President of Gulf and Western Realty.  From 1953 to 1969, Yarbenet was General Manager of Baldwin Brothers, Inc. of Eric, Pa, one of the largest privately owned real estate investment firms in the United States.
