    Lindberg had a total of 1,289 career points in basketball.  In 1978-79, he had 295 rebounds in 23 games for an average of 12.8 a game.  Four times he won the Raymond P. Shafer Outstanding Basketball Player of the Year Award, and he led the Gators in scoring in 1976-77 and 1977-78.  Lindberg was a three-time All-PAC honoree, and he helped Allegheny to the league title in former coach John Reynders' first year in 1979-80.  He left Allegheny with career averages of 15.3 points and 11.4 rebounds per game.
