Edwin J. Pinkham, Class of 1975

 

Pinkham was a four-year letterman in football and acted as team captain in 1974.  He was named to the All-American 2nd Team in 1973 and 1974, Allegheny MVP in 1974, Outstanding Player of the Year in 1971.  He was also named All-Pennsylvania in 1973-1974, All-Conference 1972-1974, and All-District-Pittsburgh Press in 1973.  He was ranked 6th nationally in punt returns in 1971 and 1974.  Pinkham was also a two-year letterman in track.  He coached Allegheny 1975-1976, when they were Conference Champions.  He went on to coach at the University of New Hampshire.  In addition, Pinkham is a member of Phi Gamma Delta.
