Daniel Stewart was one of the premier swimmers in Allegheny history.  He earned All-America honors in each of his four years over 12 events.  He led Allegheny to Top 10 finishes in three NCAA championships.  He was twice named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Most Valuable Swimmer.  He won six career PAC championships.  He helped the Gators to three PAC titles.  Stewart twice won the Richard King Fisher Award as Allegheny’s Swimmer of the Year.  He set six school records.  He was team co-captain in 1981-82 and 1982-83.
