Allegheny College Athletics

Charles Slater was a seven-year letterwinner in football and track & field. He was named to the All-Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) First Team in 1973 and 1974. In 1975, he was named to the Associate Press All-America Third Team, as well as the Kodak All-American First Team. Along with earning Pittsburgh Press All-District first-team twice, Slater was named the Allegheny Athlete of the Year in consecutive years (1975-76).
