2017: Battled through early season injury to make eight appearances on the mount, including four starts... Finished 2-1 with a 5.34 ERA and 28 K's in 30 innings pitched... Started and earned the win in season-opener vs. John Carroll (2/25), allowing two earned runs on six hits with three K's... Picked up first save of the season in win over Kenyon (4/3), working two innings and striking out two... Threw two scoreless innings of relief vs. Wooster (4/8), striking out one... Earned second win of the season in nightcap vs. Ohio Wesleyan (4/15), throwing 5.1 scoreless innings, allowing four this with five K's... Struck out season-high seven batters in five innings of work in no-decision at Hiram (4/22)... Started and worked six innings, striking out six, at Oberlin (4/30).

2016: Named North Coast Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year... First Team All-NCAC... All-Region selection by both D3baseball.com and Rawlings/ABCA... Went 6-1 with a 2.71 ERA and an NCAC-leading 73 strikeouts in 12 appearances and 63.0 innings... Walked just 14 batters and allowed an opponent batting average of .222... Struck out at least six batters in eight of his nine starts... Worked 6.1 shutout innings, allowing just two hits with a season-high 11 strikeouts, to earn the win in season-opener vs. John Carroll (3/9)... Worked seven innings, allowing just one earned run with six strikeouts, in hard-luck 2-1 loss to Oswego (3/25)... Struck out four and allowed just one hit in two innings of work vs. Baldwin Wallace (3/30)... Worked a seven-inning complete game, allowing no runs on just four hits with 10 K's, in series-opening win over Hiram (4/16)... Picked up fourth win of the season at Oberlin (4/23), allowing three runs on five hits with seven strikeouts in seven inning complete game... Threw complete game two-hitter, with nine strikeouts, in 5-1 win at Kenyon (4/30)... Started the opening game of the NCAC Crossover vs. DePauw (5/7), earning the win by throwing seven shutout innings with six strikeouts. 

2015: All-NCAC First Team selection…led Gator starters with a 2.89 ERA, leading the team with 53.0 innings pitched and 38 strikeouts…opened the year with a 7-2 win over Ripon in the team’s season-opener (Mar. 15)…picked up his second win of the season with a complete game four-hitter against Bowdoin (Mar. 20)…hurled a season-high seven strikeouts en route to his third win, throwing his second complete game of the season to push the Gators past Hiram (Apr. 11).

2014: Made 14 appearances for the Gators during freshman campaign, leading the team with a 2.41 ERA…named Allegheny Male Newcomer of the Year at the 2014 Allegheny Student Athlete Awards Ceremony…hurled 33.2 innings for the squad, striking out 27 batters while holding opposing hitters to a .270 batting average…Started a pair of games for the Gators, making his first career collegiate start against Thiel (Apr. 3), earning the win in a 7-5 Allegheny victory…hurled five innings of scoreless work in game two of the NCAC Crossover Series against Wabash (May 3), helping send the Gators to Chillicothe, Ohio and the NCAC tournament with a 7-0, game two win.

Personal: Son of Jeff and Heather Boyer…born Jun. 16, 1995…six-time varsity letter-winner (baseball, club bowling)…planned career as sports agent.
