Biography

2013-14: 2014 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/Capital One Academic All-District selection…2014 NCAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year…received first team All-NCAC laureates in both singles and doubles, becoming the first NCAC student-athlete to earn All-NCAC singles honors during all four years of collegiate career since 1997… set numerous Allegheny records, including career singles victories (83), career doubles victories (78), single season singles victories (26), and single season doubles victories (25) and single season combined wins (51)…posted a 26-6 singles record, including an eight-match win streak from Sept. 18-29 and a season-high nine match win-streak from Mar. 16 – Apr. 12…recorded most doubles wins of career with a 25-6 record…was ranked as high as No. 10 in singles in the ITA Central Region during the spring season, the highest ranking of his career and highest in program history…joined partner Tyler Triolo in a No. 10 ranking in the ITA Division III Central Region Pre-season rankings, the highest ranking in program history.

2012-13: Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Central Region Arthur Ashe Jr. Award recipient…All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) First Team singles and Second Team doubles selection…individually ranked as high as No. 17 in the ITA Division III Central Poll…set program record for most combined singles and doubles victories in a single season (44)…tied teammate Tyler Triolo as new program leader for most doubles victories in a single season with a 22-7 record…posted identical 22-7 record in singles, including 15-3 record in top-flight matches…earned NCAC Player of the Week on Apr. 8 after posting a 4-0 record in top-flight singles to help push the Gators to a 10-0 start in dual matches.
 
2011-12: All-NCAC First Team…No. 14 ranked singles player in ITA Central Region (Apr. 13)…defeated two ranked opponents in straight sets, including No. 10 Brian McCarthy of St. Thomas 6-4, 6-1(Mar. 20)…finished with 17-4 singles record in the No. 1 singles spot...earned ITA All-Academic honors…defeated 13 singles opponents in straight sets…earned 16-7 doubles record…won six of final eight doubles matches with partner Sam Stephenson.
 
2010-11: Chosen as the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Men’s Tennis Newcomer of the Year, he also was named to the All-NCAC First Team Singles after posting an impressive overall record of 18-4 playing in flight four and one...earned ITA All-Academic honors…assumed the no. 1 singles role in the spring, and won five of his first six singles matches at the top flight…he would go on to finish the season on a five-match winning streak, and ended the season with a 10-2 record at flight one singles…All-NCAC Second Team Doubles with Jake Allmaras as the duo went 8-5 at flight one doubles.
