Biography
2012-13: Finished singles campaign 13-6…posted 18-7 record in doubles matches…posted season-high six match winning streak from Mar. 22 to Apr. 16…advanced to semi-finals of Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) tournament “Blue 5” singles bracket…ended season winning five of last eight doubles matches with partner Andrea Brush…finished ITA “Blue 2” doubles bracket with undefeated record.
2011-12: Finished 14-12 in doubles matches, with 12 wins shared with Kathleen McBride while the other two were earned with Elyse Schmitt…earned a 10-13 record in singles matches, winning all but one match in straight sets.
2010-11: Appeared in three matches in her rookie season…won her collegiate debut against Penn State Behrend (Feb. 26)…won three of her four doubles matches on the year; each win coming with a different doubles partner.
Personal: Daughter of Brad Steele and Margaret Lowry...born Aug. 26, 1992...varsity captain in tennis and cross country/track...collected two league all-star titles in tennis and won four state championships.
