NCAA DIVISION III MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY OFFICIAL CHAMPIONSHIP RELEASE

Logan Steiner have each earned a spot in next Saturday's NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, hosted by Wilmington (Ohio).
Each runner punched their ticket to nationals after stellar performances at Saturday's NCAA Mideast Regional Championships in Carlisle, Pa. Brown earned her first trip to NCAA's after finishing 11th in a field of 370 runners in a career-best time of 22:24 to earn All-Region honors in the 6K women's race and lead the Gators to an impressive vourth-place finish, out of 50 teams. Steiner took fourth in the 8K men's race, earning All-Region honors for the third time in as many seasons after posting a time of 25:05, the best time at the regional race in Gator program history.
Both Brown and Steiner have led their teams throughout the 2014 season. Brown was the top runner for the Gator women in each of the team's last five races, highlighted by a fourth-place finish at the North Coast Athletic Conference championships on Nov. 1 to earn her first career All-NCAC nod.
Steiner turned in a dominant junior season for Allegheny, turning in five top-five finishes, including a trio of victories. At the NCAC Championship on Nov. 1, he was named the NCAC's Runner of the Year, and earned All-NCAC honors for the third straight year, after winning the conference's individual title, marking the third consecutive season in which the NCAC champ hailed from Allegheny.
The NCAA National Championships will be held at the King's Island Golf Center in Mason, Ohio on Sat. Nov. 22. The men's race will begin at 11 a.m., while the women will take the course at 12:30 p.m. A total of 32 teams along with 56 individual qualifiers will participate in each race.
