NAPERVILLE, Ill. -
A pair of Gator distance runners wrapped up their collegiate careers on the opening day of the Gregory Invitational, hosted by North Central College.

In the 10K, senior Brennan Hamilton ran the second-fastest time of his career, crossing the line in 33:09.44.  The 2013 All-North Coast Athletic Conference performer in the event, Hamilton shaved three seconds off of his time from the NCAC championship meet against a strong field at the Gregory Invitational.

Competing in the 5K, senior Kevin Edwards recorded a time of 15:29.77, taking third in his heat comprised of 28 runners.  It was the best outdoor time in the event in his career, and he came just six seconds from topping his previous career mark in the 5K, established in the 2012 indoor season.

Edwards was joined in the 5K by Gator junior Jack Denison, who finished in a time of 15:45.28.
